Mixmax MCP Server
What is an MCP Server?
MCPs are just like APIs — they are integrations that connect your key tools and data with your favorite AI platforms, such as ChatGPT and Claude. But there are two key differences between an MCP and an API, and you'll love both:
- MCPs are purpose-built for AI. Unlike APIs which serve as basic connectors between tools, MCPs are designed to not only share data with your AI tool, but also give it key context into how the data is structured and how to use it. It's akin to giving someone a goldmine and a map of exactly where to dig.
- No coding required. APIs can be daunting for the non-technical. MCPs are super-easy. You just need to know the URL of the MCP server you're connecting to, and you're good to go. Once connected, there's no additional configuration to negotiate. You just connect and begin prompting your AI tool with your questions and tasks.
Mixmax now connects directly to AI tools like Claude and ChatGPT — giving them access to your real meeting transcripts, summaries, and action items. Ask your AI to prep a deal review, draft a follow-up, or build a business case in seconds. Your meetings and sequences just became a superpower.
With your Mixmax data now accessible in ChatGPT or Claude, you can unlock a limitless number of possible use cases and workflows — from meeting intelligence to sequence optimization and beyond.
MCP Skills
What are Mixmax MCP skills?
We've built six installable skills that customers can add to Claude alongside their Mixmax MCP server connection. Each skill guides Claude through a specific sales workflow: pulling real data from Mixmax and interpreting it through proven sales best practices. They solve two problems at once:
- They ensure Claude always uses Mixmax as the source of truth for meeting transcripts, summaries, and sequence data — not Google Calendar or other connected tools.
- They embed sales methodology directly into the output — MEDDIC qualification, follow-up cadence timing, sequence benchmarks, objection categorization — so every rep gets coaching-quality analysis, not just raw data.
Current MCP Skills
MCP Quick Start
Guided onboarding that walks new users through their first Mixmax MCP queries with live data. Shows what’s possible and lands a “wow” moment in under 2 minutes.
Best practice
Frames each capability around a compelling stat (e.g., 76% of buyers say reps are unprepared). Turns onboarding into motivation.
Deal Review Prep
Pulls all meeting data for an account and synthesizes it into a MEDDIC-structured deal review brief with pain points, competitive mentions, and risk signals — all with direct transcript quotes.
Best practice
MEDDIC framework improves forecast accuracy from ~65% to ~90%. Auto-flags risks like missing economic buyer, stalled timelines, or single-threaded contacts.
Meeting Follow-Up Generator
Generates personalized follow-up emails that lead with specific meeting insights (not “thanks for your time”), plus structured action items and a suggested Day 3–7 value-add touch.
Best practice
Insight → commitments → next step structure. Flags overdue follow-ups. Warns against 3+ consecutive emails (triples spam risk) and suggests channel switching.
Weekly Meeting Digest
Summarizes all meetings for the week into a single digest. For reps: account themes and overdue action items. For managers: deal risks, coaching opportunities, and competitive intel roll-up.
Best practice
Surfaces patterns across meetings (repeated objections, competitor mentions). Flags accounts going silent or single-threaded. Gives managers a 2-minute pre-review briefing.
Sequence Performance Analyst
Analyzes sequence metrics at the stage level, identifies drop-off points, and generates specific optimization recommendations — not just numbers, but what to change and why.
Best practice
Benchmarks against 12% min reply rate. Flags short sequences (8–12 touches needed). Compares timing against proven 1/3/7/14/21-day cadence. Suggests specific A/B test variants.
Prospect Enrollment Check
Pre-outreach intelligence: checks if a contact is mid-sequence, surfaces their meeting history, objection profile (money/time/need/trust/competition), and recommends an approach.
Best practice
Prevents duplicate outreach. Categorizes past objections for smarter re-engagement. Flags team coordination conflicts. Recommends channel based on engagement history.
These capabilities are built into each skill
| Built-In Feature | What It Does |
|---|---|
| Mixmax-First Directive | Every skill instructs Claude to always use Mixmax MCP tools for meeting data, transcripts, and sequence metrics — never Google Calendar, Notion, or email. This solves a real pain point where Claude defaults to other sources. |
| MEDDIC Qualification | Deal reviews are structured around Metrics, Economic Buyer, Decision Criteria, Decision Process, Identified Pain, and Champion — with evidence pulled from transcripts. |
| Follow-Up Cadence Science | Timing based on the proven 1/3/7/14/21-day structure. Warns against 3+ consecutive emails. Suggests channel switching after 2 unanswered touches. |
| Sequence Benchmarking | Compares performance against industry standards: 12% minimum reply rate, 8–12 touches to book, optimal stage timing. Gives specific fix recommendations, not just metrics. |
| Objection Framework | Categorizes prospect objections into 5 types (Money, Time, Need, Trust, Competition) and uses them to tailor outreach recommendations. |
| Risk Signal Detection | Auto-flags deal risks: missing decision-maker, stale deals, single-threaded contacts, vague timelines, overdue action items. |
