What is an email sequence?

Do sequences send from my own Gmail address?
Yes. Your account, your thread, your signature.
What happens when someone replies?
They come out and nothing else sends. A calendar click or a poll answer counts too. Bounces are removed automatically.
Can I change one person’s email without changing everyone’s?
Yes. Review & Personalize shows each person’s version before it sends. Edit theirs and the rest stay as written.
Can I add someone to a sequence from Gmail?
Yes. Pick a sequence from the Mixmax bar in the compose window. The person in To is in.
Do I need a CRM?
No. Add people by hand, by CSV, or from Salesforce or HubSpot if you have one.
Is Mixmax a cold-email tool?
You can use it that way, but that isn’t what it’s built for. Sequences send from your real address at a human pace and stop when someone answers. We don’t sell contact lists.
