The Opportunity

Exciting news - Mixmax crossed $12 million in annual revenue!  

We are looking for a Technical Writer to join us to elevate our documentation, improve our customer onboarding experience, and help optimize our support team's efficiency. As part of a start-up company, you will be in a hybrid role, shuffling between technical writing and technical support responsibilities when needed. As a crucial member, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to achieve shared business goals and initiatives.

 Within three months, you’ll:

  • Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and other teams to plan, research, author, and continuously update the Mixmax Help Center and internal knowledge base.
  • Revise and maintain the support team's saved replies.
  • Provide technical and product support to customers as needed.

Within six months, you could:

  • Lead the technical writing initiative and establish policies and procedures to improve documentation.
  • Be comfortable handling our customers' most challenging technical problems.
  • Be comfortable with script writing for tutorial videos. 

Preferred skills and background:

  • Very fluent in written and verbal English.
  • 2+ years of experience writing any form of technical documentation or any similar content in a software-based company.
  • 2+ years of experience in technical support or any similar role.
  • Experience working with product and engineering teams.
  • Experience supporting SaaS tools.
  • Experience supporting Gmail, other email products, and Salesforce is a plus.
  • Essential project management skills.
  • Basic web development skills (HTML & CSS).
  • Resourceful, self-learner, analytical thinker, and naturally curious.
  • Flexibility to shift schedules.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Experience and past success in a remote position.
  • A team player who can work with diverse cultures.
